The George Washington Bridge Project

“The Busiest Bridge in the World!” or at least one of them, the George Washington Bridge stands 604 feet above the Hudson River connecting New York City to Fort Lee, New Jersey. The bridge, which was designed by Othmar H. Ammann, opened in 1931 and is easily one of the most recognizable landmarks of our time. For me, a glimpse of the bridge can bring back fond memories of heading to grandma’s house or bring on that warm and secure feeling you get when coming home from a trip.

Dare I say, “A thing of beauty”, the George Washington Bridge is the centerpiece of my project “The George Washington Bridge”. This is an ongoing project in which the goal is to capture beautiful, scenic views of the bridge.
